El Pochote Garden

El Pochote is a cinema club that offers free films in various languages. There is a garden just before we enter the ancient, tomb-like screening room.

The jacaranda trees have been spectacular and they are beginning to lose their blossoms. Here they make a nice contrasts with the red-painted wall.

Some of the trees even have sharp bits on their trunks.

The bougainvillea here is fairly bare of blossoms compared to most around, but there are other items of interest along this wall other than flowers.
