I´m sorry to report that we have not been able to find an internet connection that allows me to use my computer. Therefore, all the lovely pictures and information about our trip so far is still locked inside my laptop. We are presently in Xalapa, Mexico, having spent our first night in Tampico and the second in a little place called Papantla, Veracruz, near the El Tajin ruins. Today we toured the excellent archeological museum here in Xalapa. We´ve had awful roads and not bad roads and great scenery and very hot food--jalapeña is from here. We think we will have to alter our route south because of the terrible floods in Villa Hermosa.
