Sunday Walk in Merida 12-16-07

It's cool today. I think the temp is just right, but the folks from Merida (are they Meridians?) are bundled up in shawls and coats. It was good, comfortable walking, even the strong sun was behind clouds.

These ladies beg at the door to the cathedral downtown.

From the MACAY museum. This is for Jeff and all the other gearheads.

Santa too still thought it warm. He brought his fan.

There is another Mexican beer we enjoy, but we thought we couldn't get it in Merida. Finally, we found it at a restarant which also has reasonably priced food that is also tasty. Sopa de lima is what Kent is eating and it's very good.

This house is just around the block from our apartment. Although the exterior needs some refurbishing, it's very nice inside. Perhaps they intend that it look shabby outside.

There are several building supply places near us as well.
