San Cristobal's Cathedral

San Cristobal is a cathedral town, but the cathedral isn't always the oldest or the most ornate church in the town. This one is newer than another one I will show on the blog, but it's interesting because of the colorful plaster decorations on the facade.

In the evening the front steps seem to be the congregation point for rasta locked people. I suspect most are foreign travelers.

Virgin of Dolores.

A side altar devoted to the Virgin of Guadaloupe, the patron saint of Mexico.

The back side of the cathedral.
