Markets in Mexico are of many kinds, but the most interesting ones are those that locals shop at. They sell everything one might need in stalls manned by individuals or families. San Cristobal's market is outside; many others are in large dark buildings. Again, people were reluctant to have me photograph them. I suppose they get awfully tired of tourists taking their pictures, for all the tourists go to the markets for local color. Often a seller will demand quite a bit of money for a photo and I don't give it to them, so I do without photos.
